Automobiles in Germany's City Discovered Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities mentioned they were alerted by a individual who noticed a car in Hanau smeared with reddish fluid

Approximately 50 cars have been marked with what appears to be human blood in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, walls and postboxes were defaced, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Police report they were alerted during the night on Wednesday night, when a man noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they reported.

Law enforcement then found many other vandalized vehicles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement say initial examinations suggest the fluid was probably human blood.

"There is still no lead as to its origin; officials are currently not informed of any harm in connection with the incident," they commented.

City officials said they were attempting "to solve the incident" and have requested to the public for information.

A high-ranking representative commented the incident rendered him without words and needed to be resolved rapidly.

"This event hits the very heart of Hanau and revives the pain of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on a platform, referring to the death of nine individuals by a assailant targeting people of migrant background in five years prior.
